Scottish Scones

    Mix together dry ingredients, then cut in butter. Add raisins and egg.

    Add just enough milk to make a soft dough.

    Knead on a lightly floured counter. Roll out and cut into 1/2 inch thick rounds.

    Place on cookie sheet. Bake at 450 F for 8-10 minutes, or until bottoms are rather brown.
