For the health conscious folks, a low fat recipe for Natalie’s recipe cupboard! I like this over the fat free/cholesterol free egg noodles. We use fat free Parmesan, so it’s pretty much a very low fat/fat free meal.
Saute onions and mushrooms, set aside.
Mix first three ingredients in pan over low heat. Stir five minutes.
With whisk add Molly McButter & grated Parmesan.
After five minutes, stir in flour 1/2 T. at a time. Stir vigorously over high heat.
Add mushrooms and onions.
Add fresh pepper & garlic last.
Serve over noodles/pasta/potatoes/rice.
